Leon Redbone is a singer and guitarist like no other. Specializing in interpretations of early 20th-century music, including jazz and blues standards and Tin Pan Alley classics, he has released fifteen albums to critical acclaim. Redbone’s concerts blend performance, comedy and skilled instrumentals. Usually dressed in attire reminiscent of the Vaudeville era – white Panama hat, dark sunglasses, white coat and trousers with a black string tie – this look coupled with his unique vocal stylings has earned him a sizable cult following that includes the legendary Bob Dylan.
