Atlanta Rhythm Section

The Atlanta Rhythm Section is a Southern rock band that reached the top of the charts during the 1970s, but their unique softer pop sound put them in the same company as such diverse legends as Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Lynyrd Skynrd and The Allman Brothers. They released 15 albums and consistently put on entertaining live shows — both of which helped establish a broad if not huge fan base. ARS’ Top Ten album, Champagne Jamspawned two hit singles, "I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight" and "Imaginary Lover." Additionally, some of country-rock's biggest names have gone on to record Atlanta Rhythm Section covers, including Travis Tritt, Wynonna Judd, and Charlie Daniels.
